Today was the last day of school before Thanksgiving break. Owen was so excited to tell me all about his fun day while we were waking home. He told me that Mrs. Cass made sugar cookies, they each got to put 5 pieces of candy corn for the feathers and use MnMs for eyes. He told me that they watched a Charlie Brown Thansgiving movie and made a fat turkey out of a paper plate. He told me that they pretty much did all fun stuff. It made my heart so happy to hear him say that.
They do so much work in school. So much work. It's ridiculous. But apparently, the kids are ridiculously smart because they are able to do it. Owen is doing so much and learning so much and I am so very proud of him. But every now and then, he needs to be 7 and do pretty much all fun stuff. So thankful for a teacher who realizes that, too.
