My sister and her family got Owen the Elf on the Shelf as part of his Christmas gift.
We gave it to him early, of course, so we could start enjoying him!
At first Owen came up with the name Train, naturally.
Then, he wanted to name him Conductor.
The final name he came up with was Markus, who is one of the characters
on The Little Engine that Could. So here is Markus, all smiley for his elf debut...
Owen loves looking for Markus and he gets so excited when he sees him!
He knows he can't touch him,
but he always wants to get really close :)

This is how Owen found Markus on Saturday.
He got out all of our goodies to help us make
tasty treats and cupcakes for our Happy Birthday Jesus party.
