The gift...

Every morning, we are blessed with the gift of a new day and the Bible says that God's mercies are new every morning.  But today, God blessed us with another gift...snow!  It wasn't much, and the sun is out now so it's all gone, but it was beautiful while it lasted.  Owen and I enjoyed looking out the window and snuggling together in our warm pajamas inside our warm house.  We watched it for a long time.  And as I watched the snow falling, I saw it through Owen's eyes and my heart was truly filled with joy.  I try to teach Owen so many things everyday, but today he taught me something.  He taught me to slow down.  He taught me to be still and stand in awe of God and the beautiful gifts He gives us.
